Call for submissions

Womxn Paint, with support from StreetARToronto, is hosting a second jam August 10th — 12th, 2018 in the laneway between 136 McCaul Street and 39 D’Arcy Street. Emerging and mid-career artists, or artist teams are encouraged to submit concepts for murals in response to the theme “Uplifting Each Other”. We are looking for artist to visually share authentic stories of feeling empowered and supporting others.

DEADLINE: Artists must submit their applications by Sunday, June 17 at 5pm. Late applications will not be considered. 

Selected artists will receive an honorarium (amount to be determined) for their successful completed piece. Montana Black paint will be supplied (denomination to be determined) and the areas will be primed and ready to go. 

Artists will be chosen by a jury based on:

• Interest in the project
• Portfolio of past work
• Concept for their mural
