Womxn Paint 2019
#WomxnPaintTO
Womxn Paint hosted their third mural jam July 12th — 14th, 2019 in North Etobicoke as part of a Signature project of the Cultural Hotspot produced in partnership with the City of Toronto, StreetARToronto (StART), Arts Etobicoke, the STEPS Initiative and Mural Routes, and supported by Toronto Pearson International Airport and Dulux Paint. The paintings are located on the northern retaining wall along Finch Ave W between Kipling Ave and Islington Ave.
30 emerging and mid-career artists transformed 2,650+ sq.ft into 30 murals responding to the theme “naturally resilient”. The murals celebrate building strength, connection and community through developing our relationship with the natural world.
